David North’s construction career began over 15 years ago when he worked for P&R Builders, a local commercial construction company. Projects he worked on include the Sterling Elementary School in Sterling, Colorado, Garden Place Academy in Globeville, Peace Mennonite Church in Aurora, Colorado and a refueling/maintenance facility at Buckley Air Force Base. David switched from commercial to residential remodeling in 1997 when he started working for Kujawa Construction, a small remodel contractor in Park Hill. David then spent two years in the Peace Core, and when he returned home, he started True North Construction. David has his Class B License from the City and County of Denver and is fully insured.
Tony Capone was born in Pittsburgh, PA, but has called Colorado home since he was six years old. Tony began his construction career with his stepfather doing heating, ventilation and air conditioning work (HVAC), and met Dave North on a remodeling job. Their professional relationship began in 2001 when Dave recruited Tony to do carpentry work for True North.
Along with undertaking large remodeling projects with the True North Construction team, Tony also owns and operates his own window replacement company on the weekends. He says that his favorite part of his job is demolition and always looks forward to that.
When Tony is not working, he enjoys some of the many outdoor activities Colorado has to offer, including kayaking and hiking, as well as flying radio-controlled airplanes. He also boasts the title of Eagle Scout, a merit Tony proudly says you have for life. Tony and his wife are active in the local community and work together on projects like Rebuilding Together, a non-profit that provides crucial home repairs, safety modifications, and energy efficiency upgrades to qualified homeowners and community centers in need. They also participate in blood drives, bowl-a-thons, and help to maintain park and hiking trails in Colorado.
